Bio

DEDE is a Haitian international artist, her melodic and eclectic sound reflects her love for culture and universal harmony. She's a visionary, a writer, a performer, an entrepreneur, creative director and an aspiring activist. This upcoming global superstar's career is shaping up to be nothing short of iconic. 

DEDE's achievements includes starting off her career being part of one of Haiti's memorable live online performances that took place May 9, 2020 as along side rapper and icon Fantom, who is recognized as the Godfather of rap in the kreyol Rap culture. With over 20k views she captured her audience with her soulful voice. She also assisted several band groups such as, Gabel and Harmonik, Dzine as a vocalist, worked with recording Haitian International artists such as Rutshelle, and Bedjine + Kadilak, Darline Desca and have collaborated with many local artists. 

Born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, DEDE migrated to the U.S with her mother to join her father in Florida at the age of six. Like most immigrants filled with hopes and dreams, she has always had a love for music. Growing up in Florida at a time where arts were highly appreciated and encouraged in schools just as much as academics, her parents confidently allowed her to take music classes throughout her school years. DEDE spent years in school choir, show choir, violin classes, vocal training, and ensembles. 

Graduating from Olympic Heights High School, she became her school's pathfinder nominee for the music department. As she grew into adulthood DEDE initially chose a path into neuroscience studies, but eventually felt led back to what she calls now her purpose, Music. After enduring a few personal hardships and walking away from a very religious background DEDE eventually began her journey of discovering her self. She has become a mother, a powerhouse, a resilient dream chaser and an innovative entrepreneur. 

She released her first official single "Tounen" in 2021 with Trinidadian artist Maki. "Tounen" is now available everywhere. Following her release, she attended a media tour in the capital of Haiti captivating the hearts and souls of the locals. DEDE aims to continue trailblazing through the international music industry and expand worldwide. Adittionally, DEDE relased four other singles and music videos that's available on youtube. Her most eventful performance was the talk of the night at El Rancho hotel, in Haiti, 2022. Alongside many amazing international artist including Nigerian singer-songwriter Joeboy, DEDE's  performance left the crowd wanting more and that's just what she plans on doing. 

As a rising trailblaizor, DEDE has released four independent singles and over five collaborating projects with other rising artists and international Bands. Her music are available on all platforms. Through her company (Dgrandproductions), DEDE has captivated her community with her local live performance shows. She aims to continue to grow into the hearts of her audience around the world. Above all, her desire to be an instrument of love and hope is at the root of her motivation and aspirations.
